Laabam AI is an AI assistant from Laabam One Business Solutions Private Limited. It runs on Laabam Agni Pro and helps you ask questions, write and explain things, translate, and work with your own files, in Tamil, English and other Indian languages.

No. Without an account you can use 10,000 tokens a day, enough for a few messages. A free account gets 2.5 lakh tokens a day, saves your chats, and gives you projects and the Laabam Bots. Allowances start again at midnight IST.

Tamil, English, Hindi, Telugu and other Indian languages, and you can mix them, as in Tanglish or Hinglish. Voice input understands Indian English only for now.

Photos and screenshots, text and code files (such as .txt, .csv, .md, .json or .py), PDFs, Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), PowerPoint (.pptx), LibreOffice files, and ZIP files of these. Photos and documents need an account, and a document can be up to 4 MB. Only the first 24,000 characters of a file are read. A PDF whose Tamil or other Indian-language text was saved with broken fonts can't be read as text: attach photos of its pages instead. Old .doc, .xls and .ppt files can't be read: save them in the newer format first.

Yes. For many questions it searches the web and lists the sources it used under the answer. Your question is sent to the search engine, so leave out anything confidential. If you paste a link, Laabam AI reads that page.

Only you. Our staff see the text of a message only if our automatic checks flag it as possible misuse, or if you turn on Help improve Laabam AI in Settings. The Privacy Policy explains this in full.

To delete a chat, find it in the sidebar, under Recents, in a project or in search results (on a phone, open the menu first), and click its bin icon. To delete a project, open it, click the gear icon (Project settings) and choose Delete project; its chats move to Recents. To delete everything, open Settings and choose Delete account: it removes your account, chats, projects and files for good.

Projects group related chats. Give a project instructions, such as "Answer in Tamil" or "I run a textile shop in Madurai", and Laabam AI follows them in every chat in that project.

Ready-made bots for work tasks such as sales, marketing, finance and customer support. A bot researches when a question needs it and checks its answer automatically against its sources before you see it. With a free account you can ask them up to 30 questions a day.

Between 11 pm and 7:30 am IST, Laabam AI starts up when the first message arrives. That can take up to about 15 minutes, and the first request may fail. If it does, try again in a few minutes.

Yes. Laabam Agni is available through an OpenAI-compatible API. Create a key at platform.laabam.ai.
